Delivery

I was the only designer in the onboarding flow, within a small team of designers in other surfaces, and partnered with stakeholders from research through delivery.

Looking into our user cohorts quantitative and qualitative data...

I worked closely with PM and we found the cohort with lowest conversion rate had the second-highest revenue per subscriber

1 in 3 users have 0-3 years of experience

These users have the lowest conversion rate at 15%

They have the second highest revenue per subscriber

This led to our hypothesis

Tavon, 31

Student, part-time server. He applies daily for entry-level HR jobs, feeling anxious and sad.

Like Tavon, 15% of entry-level users skip our content sections

One of the main drivers of conversion and delight is our sample content.

But for users like Tavon, without a relevant job title, we can’t provide value in our recommendations, leading to him skipping the section entirely.

I worked closely with PM to develop our hypothesis:

By offering guidance and personalizing our experience we can better demonstrate the value we offer and encourage subscription for users with no experience.
